Reproductive System Malfunction Parade

It must be that time of year again. Those unfortunate souls who suffer from a bizarre malady in which their reproductive system gets aroused by members of the same sex, are going to march through Jerusalem to let us know how proud they are of their disorder. The residents of the city of Jerusalem, and the holy city itself, will once again be brutalized by a "Gay Pride Parade".

One does not have to be a genius in order to understand that being sexually attracted to members of the same sex is nothing to be proud of. Even if we accept the claim that one is born with this defect and it cannot be changed, it is still nothing to gloat about. Marching through our city will not turn a truly lamentable condition into a source of pride. It is such a shame that these people, who understand that acting on these inclinations is a sin, are proud that they do so. It is ludicrous that they think that by defiling our holy city with their pitiful "in your face" parade, they can somehow justify their abominable acts.

On the other hand, if one who has this inclination succeeds in resisting it, he is a true hero. This is a great achievement that he (or she) can surely find satisfaction in.

In general, one should walk humbly and not march haughtily: "It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD doth require of thee: only to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God" (Micah 6:8).
