Shabbot Shalom, I am an architect living in US and a frequent visitor to Israel, last trip was in July 2006. I was interested in the bridge and came upon your blog. Thanks for the pictures and the more recent picture as well. I am very familiar with this intersection, driving through it many times on my trips. I had hopes that there would be a way to bridge up to the city from the highway creating a dramatic entrance and also alleviating traffic. I am shomer-kashrut but not shomer-shabbot...only in America.
